Evan Bruce, a recent graduate of Lewis and Clark High in Washington and a Washington State signee representing Spokane Speed Academy, completed a sweep of the men's 17-18 division titles in both the 1,500 and 3,000 meters at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Bruce clocked 3:58.94 to secure the 1,500 championship after running 8:44.61 in the 3,000-meter final.
